The combination of love and tradition delighted the guests at the extraordinary wedding of Nikola Grncharov and Renata Stojanova, with the photos and video by,  "Zaga Production” generating praise throughout the country.

The couple met at the “House of the Miyaks,” and two years later, they got married here in traditional style. The bride and groom wore Miyak costumes while they promised each other to be together forever.

“The story begins two years ago in the ‘House of the Miyaks’ restaurant. The wedding took place there where I met Renata. With the blessing of Father Partenij, our spiritual father, we decided to have a wedding that would be as close as possible to a traditional one. That’s how it happened, dressed in traditional Miyak costumes, we had a traditional Macedonian wedding in Bigorski Monastery of St. John the Baptist, and a modern wedding at the ‘House of the Miyaks’ restaurant” – says the happy groom.

And the loving couple’s marriage proposal is related to the region as well. “On the first anniversary of our relationship, I proposed to her at the top of Golem Krchin (2,341 meters), it is the peak that can be seen from the courtyard of Bigorski Monastery” – says Nikola.
