This location is stunning. If you are looking for a quit break between long legs of travel, I highly recommend this spot. There are two hotels. One up by the momentary and what I’m assuming is the original hotel at the bottom by the restaurant. We stayed in these rooms. I think there are only 4 in this hotel but they were nice. The facility has a lot of character. The restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was also excellent. And the monastery is well worth the visit. So relaxing and the church is spectacular.

Very nice spot in a great location in nature and right by the monastery. The house is really cute and the rooms are cozy and clean. The restaurant serves absolutely amazing traditional Macedonian food and the staff is very kind and helpful. Would definitely come back again! Plus the breakfast was amazing – the servings are huge and everything was delicious!

Hospitality is the best, staff is so friendly and helpful, they are fantastic! The place looks so beautiful, it’s way more beautiful then the pictures on booking already are. The restaurant serves local food and tastes so good, definitely the best we had in the Balkans so far. The room is very clean, beds sleeps good and the bathroom looks brand new. Enough parking spaces in front of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by pure nature and looks formidable!

The location is amazing, and it makes a great base for exploring the Mavrovo National Park. The house itself is beautiful and full of lovely details. The big patio/terrace offers great views and we enjoyed eating breakfast outside – even in October. It’s more a restaurant with rooms than a hotel, so they only have a few rooms (after the restaurant closes, it’s very quiet). The food (and wine) was excellent and we loved trying out different traditional dishes. Their local sheep cheese is to die for! Our waiter was very helpful, friendly and passionate about the local cuisine. Very reasonably priced, especially given the quality and quantity. We would love to stay again!

Hier muss man einfach übernachtet haben! Das Hotel gehört zum oberhalb gelegenen Bigorski-Kloster, das alleine den Aufenthalt schon rechtfertigt. Die Unterkunft ist schön in den Bergen, direkt an der Strasse gelegen. Die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge ist traumhaft. Das Hotel und Restaurant sind mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail errichtet worden. Das Abendessen hat uns gut geschmeckt und die Preise waren trotz der Lage günstig. Auch das Frühstück schmeckte sehr gut, es gab eine lokale Spezialität zur Auswahl, die sehr lecker war. Unser Tipp: wir waren nur 1 Nacht hier, würden aber jedem mind. 2 Nächte empfehlen. Man hat so mehr Zeit um die wunderschöne Umgebung zu erkundigen und bei schlechtem Wetter kann man im Thermalbad, in einem der mineralreichsten Wasser Europas, baden und entspannen (Fahrzeit 15 Autominuten).

Beautiful location, staff is very kind and helpful. The food is excellent. It is a perfect place for resting. Rooms are clean, the bathroom is new, there is a beautiful view of Bistra mountain and river Radika.

Local specialities in the restaurant. Try the pechalbarsko meat dish: pork with apricots and prunes. The late-harvest Vranec makes a very nice after dinner tipple. It’s an “ethno restaurant” so the background music is Macedonian folk music. Because of the location it cools down quickly once the sun goes down – made a pleasant change in the middle of summer!

Lyrical small hotel surrounded by the mountains and beautiful nature in the middle of the Mavrovo National park. Very friendly staff and great food.

Мястото е прекрасно, с чудесна гледка. Фантастичен ресторант на открито. Хотелът е обзаведен с много вкус, има свой автентичен облик и визия с етно елементи. На около 10 минути пеша и 2-3 мин. с кола до Бигорския манастир. Преживяването ни беше прекрасно!
