We are coming here for a second time. We had a great time again. The restaurant has a new menu with many must-try dishes. Everything we had was tasty and fresh. Also, we must compliment the outstanding service of the staff, especially Igor who made sure we have everything we need.

Perfect location, very close to Bigorski monastery. The hotel is surrounded with high mountains and still close to the main road. Food was perfect and staff was more then friendly and helpful.

Nice place to stay when visiting the nearby john Baptist monastery or hiking in the beautiful surrounding mountains of Mavrovo park. Extraordinary traditional Macedonian dishes. Sleeping accommodations. adequate. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the region.

The location is amazing, and it makes a great base for exploring the Mavrovo National Park. The house itself is beautiful and full of lovely details. The big patio/terrace offers great views and we enjoyed eating breakfast outside – even in October. It’s more a restaurant with rooms than a hotel, so they only have a few rooms (after the restaurant closes, it’s very quiet). The food (and wine) was excellent and we loved trying out different traditional dishes. Their local sheep cheese is to die for! Our waiter was very helpful, friendly and passionate about the local cuisine. Very reasonably priced, especially given the quality and quantity. We would love to stay again!

Hier muss man einfach übernachtet haben! Das Hotel gehört zum oberhalb gelegenen Bigorski-Kloster, das alleine den Aufenthalt schon rechtfertigt. Die Unterkunft ist schön in den Bergen, direkt an der Strasse gelegen. Die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge ist traumhaft. Das Hotel und Restaurant sind mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail errichtet worden. Das Abendessen hat uns gut geschmeckt und die Preise waren trotz der Lage günstig. Auch das Frühstück schmeckte sehr gut, es gab eine lokale Spezialität zur Auswahl, die sehr lecker war. Unser Tipp: wir waren nur 1 Nacht hier, würden aber jedem mind. 2 Nächte empfehlen. Man hat so mehr Zeit um die wunderschöne Umgebung zu erkundigen und bei schlechtem Wetter kann man im Thermalbad, in einem der mineralreichsten Wasser Europas, baden und entspannen (Fahrzeit 15 Autominuten).

You’ll enjoy The House of the Miyaks. The food is fabulous, breakfast was great and the meals for dinner are exceptional. I highly recommend to travellers who are travelling in western Macedonia. This is a most unusual hotel/restaurant and is really worth a detour.

El restaurante del hotel es muy bueno y asequible, nos atendieron muy bien. La habitación es tranquila y cómoda aunque hay que subir escaleras. El coche se puede aparcar en el parking de la carretera al lado. Está a 300m del monasterio y en un sitio muy tranquilo y bonito, aunque para moverse por la zona es necesario el coche.

Fantastische locatie, Dichtbij klooster. A must see. Aangezien de kok pas op 09:00 arriveert kan het ontbijt was na 09:00 genoten worden, maar met een ochtendwandeling naar Jovan Bigorski klooster (inclusief mis) is dat geen belemmering 😉 Prima restaurant on-site met bediening in Mijak klederdracht en verwarmd met haardvuur. Vriendelijk personeel.

This was one of the best hotels that i stayed during our balkan tour. Building, nature, foods, friendly stuff they were all fantastic. We came with a motorbike. they let us to park it in the yard. It has his own restaurant. There are plenty of choices. Our room was big. Bathroom smells like forest. It was that much clean. We highly recommend the hotel. I would definetly stay again.
