House of the Miyaks ethno-restaurant wins Booking.com’s highest recognition
The big news was announced by the manager of the restaurant, Mr. Nikolce Dimeski, who adds that this is a great honor for him and all the employees, but also a challenge for even greater commitment to achieving the highest possible quality of food and service. He adds that guests are more than satisfied so far, which also confirms the recognition received.
– By our guests themselves and by the deputy director James Waters, our ethno-restaurant has been rated as the best and most popular restaurant, with high-quality service and food, and a beautiful setting, and it is recognized as such not only in the Republic of North Macedonia but also throughout Europe. It is a challenge for all of us to work with even more dedication, in order to create even more smiles and even more satisfied visitors, – says Dimeski.
Beginning with its opening in September 2016, thousands of guests have stayed here, both intentional and casual travelers, from Macedonia, the Balkans, all over Europe, and even from Israel and other countries, who always had words of praise. With all their recommendations, the number of guests is constantly growing.
– Everyone is welcome. Anyone who, at least for a moment, wants to feel peace of soul and relax from hectic everyday life. Our visitors know very well how it feels when you fall asleep to the sound of the Radika River and wake up to the sounds coming from the beautiful Bistra. What is also very significant is the fact that the guests have the opportunity to visit the ancient Macedonian holy place, Bigorski Monastery, which is in the immediate vicinity, – points out Dimeski.
The “House of the Miyaks” ethno-restaurant is located on the right side of the Debar – Mavrovo regional road, at the corner of the road leading to Bigorski Monastery.
It is not a regular ethno-restaurant and hotel, where you can taste and get to know the top Miyak specialities, but even more than that, it is a kind of museum of Miyak culture and tradition.
It was built following an idea by the abbot of Bigorski Monastery, Archimandrite Partenij, and is the embodiment of rich Miyak tradition, culture, and architecture.
